Made in the USA
Allison Jenetopulos is a metalsmith and jewelry maker living and working between Chicago, IL and Miami, FL. Originally from Florida, she attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and has a BFA in sculpture and fiber.
I focus on the individual piece at hand.
All pieces created have a focus on the process and the handwork that goes into making each piece special. My concern is far from that of mass production, instead I focus on the individual piece at hand to create a line of predominately one of a kind pieces each having been created from start to finish with my own two hands. I begin with a stone, handpicked from local shops, or travels. From there I sketch out, either through experimentation or pen and paper what the stone will transform into. Then the metalsmithing begins. Each stone is encased and transformed to be part of something larger, through sawing, hammering, soldering and rolling; it is a labor of love.

Hunter's Story
Hunter was a rescue dog that came to Allison from Paws for You an organization in Miami, FL. He was abused, neglected, and almost put to sleep. Today he is a healthy and happy pup with a full time career; "Shop Dog".
Life as a Shop Dog
Hunter first began his career as mearly a warm body in the studio. It wasn't until he noticed Allison struggling to take a photograph of her hand with jewelry on it that he decided to lend a paw. It was at this moment that he became more than just a dog who wanders around the studio aimlessly.
Over time he has proven himself capable of more responsibilities as shop dog. He now answers the phones, packages orders, runs the tumblers and even keeps the studio running while Allison is away!
