Q: The piece I want sold, can I still get an exact duplicate?

A: If the piece is a one of a kind, I will never be able to make an exact duplicate! This is something to cheerish that each person is getting a unique one of a kind piece of art.

Q: How do I take care of my new piece?

A: We are so glad you want to treat your new piece with love! Please see our care page to ensure your gems stay good as new.

Q. Are the stones you use real?

A: Absolutely! We take pride in the stones we use and do our very best to source the absolute best for our customers. Let's just say sourcing stones is one of our passions!

Q: How do I order something?

A: I accept and welcome custom orders of all kinds! Turn around time, however, will depend on a lot of different factors; how extensive your project is, if I have upcoming shows, how many orders are in line before yours, etc. So send me a message and let's get started!

Q: Can I buy your work locally?

A: Absolutely! For a list of stores that carry my line please see the "Where to Buy" page. If your in the Chicago or Miami area just send me a message!

Q: Do you wholesale?

A: Yes! I love working with stores, to give customers the opportunity to shop in person. Send me an email to w.avrovomy@gmail.com and let's see if we would be a good match!

Q: May I post about your work on my blog or website?

A: Yes! Go ahead. I love the support. Just make sure you link and give credit for any and all photos where credit is due.

 

Q: Where did you learn to work with metal?

A: (in short) I attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and majored in sculpture, fiber and performance. I took an array of sculpture classes, including both heavy metal, foundry and light metal classes. Through college I made some jewelry, but was focused mostly on working on my fiber and sculpture pieces. It wasn't until graduating college and having a series of injuries that changed my path; I started making jewelry again. (and I couldn't be happier!) The jewelry I was making was soley for me, but started being recognized by people around me. In January 2014 Avrocomy, named after my great grandmother, was officially launched.
